The ACG will host a discussion and reception with Stephan Albani, Member of the German Bundestag (CDU/CSU) and Deputy Chair of the Research, Space, and Technology Assessment Committee in the German Federal Parliament.
Stephan Albani has been a Member of the German Bundestag representing the Oldenburg-Ammerland constituency in Lower Saxony since 2013. He currently serves as the Deputy Chair of the Research, Space, and Technology Assessment Committee in the Bundestag, as well as a Member of the Committee for Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. He has previously chaired Parliamentary Friendship Groups for Relations with South-Eastern Europe, Ireland, and Egypt. Since 2018, he also served as a board member at the federal level of the Small Business and Economic Union (MIT – Mittelstands und Wirtschaftsunion) associated with the CDU/CSU. Before being elected to the Bundestag, Mr. Albani served as the Managing Director of several organizations related to hearing research.
Mr. Albani studied Physics at the University of Göttingen.
