
Director of Development
Joelle Montier is a mission-driven fundraising professional with over a decade of experience in nonprofit development and marketing. She currently serves as Development Director at the American Council on Germany, where she leads fundraising strategy, oversees membership, and manages the organization’s signature McCloy Awards Dinner. Her career includes roles at Citymeals on Wheels, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles, and in nonprofit, government, and private-sector consulting.
Joelle holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Communication from Michigan State University, where she also studied for a semester at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. She is passionate about building inclusive, sustainable fundraising programs and has a strong background in both stakeholder engagement and operational strategy.
