Program Assistant
After a middle school German class and formative three-week GAPP exchange ignited Hannah’s passion for German and European affairs, she went on to double-major in German and Politics and minor in Environmental Studies at Oberlin College. During her time there, Hannah gained valuable experience as a delegate at the Athens Democracy Forum and as the Chair of the Green EDGE Fund, a board that finances community-based environmental sustainability projects. After graduating in 2021, Hannah spent two years as a teaching assistant through the USTA Program administered by Fulbright Austria, followed by a year in Germany with the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX), a fellowship jointly funded by the Bundestag and U.S. State Department. Through CBYX, she interned with the Thuringia Renewable Energies Network (ThEEN e.V.) and with a member of the European Parliament and also volunteered with the U.S. Consulate. As the Program Assistant, Hannah supports the implementation and advancement of the ACG’s programs, including virtual and in-person policy discussions and study tours.
