The American Council on Germany will host a discussion and luncheon with Jürgen Hardt, Member of the German Bundestag (CDU), Foreign Policy Spokesman of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group, and Coordinator of Transatlantic Cooperation at the Federal Foreign Office.
There will be a charge of $45 for members to attend this event.

Jürgen Hardt has been a member of the German Bundestag (CDU) since 2009. In 2014, he was named Coordinator of Transatlantic Cooperation at the Federal Foreign Office. In the Bundestag, he is a member of the Defense Committee, the European Union Affairs Committee, and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Prior to his work at the federal level, he was active in local politics. He has been the District Chairman of the CDU in Wuppertal since 2003. From 2004 to 2009, he served as a member of the City Council in Wuppertal and worked as the Chairman of the Economic Committee and a member of the Advisory Board for Wuppertal’s public utilities. Since 2005, he has served as the Deputy District Chairman of the CDU of the Bergisches Land.
