Dr. Reinhard Ploss has been a member of the Management Board of Infineon Technologies AG since 2007 and CEO since October 1, 2012. Dr. Ploss began his career at Infineon in 1999 as President and Head of the Industrial Power Business Unit at eupec GmbH Co. KG, a subsidiary of Infineon. From that position, Dr. Ploss took over the Automotive and Industrial Business Division, followed by the development, production, and operational management of the Automotive, Industrial, and Multimarket Segment. In June 2007, he was appointed to the Executive Board of Infineon for the Manufacturing Division. Later, he also became Labor Director and took over the Research and Development Department. He studied process engineering at the Technical University of Munich and received his doctorate in 1986.
