The American Council on Germany’s Atlanta Warburg Chapter, the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, and the Goethe-Institut will host a discussion and reception with Vladimir Balzer on “German-American Relations in a New Era”.
Vladimir Balzer is an award-winning journalist and moderator at Deutschlandradio. He grew up in Leipzig and studied German, Art History, and Journalism in Dublin, Venice, and Leipzig. He also studied abroad in the United States. He began his career as a presenter, reporter, and editor at Deutschlandradio and MDR.
Mr. Balzer hosts, among other programs, the daily programs “Fazit – Kultur vom Tage” and “Studio 9” on Deutschlandfunk Kultur. He has also reported for Deutschlandradio from the United States. In 2022, he was selected as a Kellen Fellow by the American Council on Germany.
