
The Atlanta Eric M. Warburg Chapter of the American Council on Germany cordially invites you to a Lunch Discussion on “German Politics Today: Shifts, Challenges, and Opportunities” with Mr. Malte Lehming, Columnist, Der Tagesspiegel.
Malte Lehming is an editor and writes for the Berlin daily Der Tagesspiegel. Until October 2016, he was responsible for the opinion page. From late 2000 to 2005, he was the newspaper’s Washington bureau chief. He joined Der Tagesspiegel in 1991 as foreign affairs editor – focusing on security policy, transatlantic relations, and the Middle East.
From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Lehming worked as a personal assistant and speechwriter for former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt. He studied Philosophy, German Literature, and European History in Hamburg.
