The ACG’s most recent podcasts

The American Council on Germany provides access to experts on both sides of the Atlantic. Our recent podcasts address current issues shaping the transatlantic agenda. They have been recorded over Zoom or in person. Click here for our most recent podcasts.

Join the American Council on Germany for its “Kaffeepause: What’s Abuzz in Berlin?” a regular podcast that takes stock of current events in Germany. Each week, we are joined by a journalist based in Germany to talk about the stories behind the headlines.

The ACG and the Goethe-Institut are hosting a series of discussions across the United States highlighting how German and American journalists based in the United States currently see political and social developments in Germany, the United States, and internationally.

In a series of events speakers will address a range of topics that affect citizens in both countries. What strikes them most about current trends in Germany and the United States and the political discourse? What surprises them the most? In which direction(s) is the United States developing? What impact does this have on Germany – and the future of the transatlantic partnership?

The ACG and the Goethe Institut have partnered for this series of talks and discussions that focus on the question of what the idea of solidarity means in different contexts. In-person events will be hosted across the U.S. and then released as podcasts. They are available on your favorite audio platform.
