DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On February 26\, the ACG will host a discussion and luncheon with Dr. Thomas Gstaedtner\, Head of Division in the Banking Supervisory Arm of the European Central Bank. \nDr. Thomas Gstaedtner works as a Head of Division in the banking supervisory arm of the European Central Bank. He is responsible for supervising the French banks and Commerzbank. In this function\, he also leads the Country Coordination Team France and is a member of a Task Force of the Basel Committee on Counterparty Credit Risk. \nBefore joining the ECB\, Dr. Gstaedtner worked for ten years at Deutsche Bank in London\, where he held several managerial positions. In his last function at Deutsche Bank\, he was the Head of Legal/Regulatory Change Management and was in charge of implementing regulatory changes in Deutsche Bank’s operations. Dr. Gstaedtner started his career at an Asset Management company in Munich as the Head of Legal\, Tax\, and HR. He is the founder and President of the European Banking Institute (EBI)\, which is based in Frankfurt. The EBI is a pan-European joint venture for research and policy advice in the area of banking\, banking regulation\, and banking supervision. Dr. Gstaedtner studied Law in Munich\, Saarbrucken\, and London and is a qualified lawyer in Germany (Rechtsanwalt) and in England/Wales (solicitor).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
