DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The ACG will host a breakfast briefing in Washington\, DC for Young Leader Alumni with Steffen Kampeter\, CEO of the Confederation of German Employer’s Associations (BDA). \nRSVP (acceptances only) to the American Council on Germany at 212‐826‐3636 or events@acgusa.org. \nSteffen Kampeter is CEO of the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations (BDA). Previously\, he served as State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Finance\, and was also a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2016. An economist by training\, he was the majority leader in the Budget\, Appropriations\, and Ways and Means Committee and chaired the working group on budget policy of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group. In his Westphalian constituency of Minden‐Lübbecke\, Mr. Kampeter serves as Chairman of the local CDU.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
