SUMMARY:Atlanta: Germany as an Immigration Country:  Labor Migration and the Refugee Influx
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Atlantic Warburg Chapter and the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S.\, Inc. will host a discussion and luncheon with Dr. Cornelia Schu\, Managing Director and Director of the Research Unit at the Expert Council of German Foundations on Integration and Migration (SVR). \nThere is a no charge for ACG and GACC members and a $25 charge for nonmembers to attend this event. Reservations are required here by March 3. \nCornelia Schu serves as the SVR’s Managing Director as well as the Director of the SVR’s Research Unit. Before joining the SVR\, Dr. Schu led Stiftung Mercator’s thematic cluster on integration\, where she gained extensive expertise in integration policy. Dr. Schu also worked as Personal Assistant to the Secretary General and the Chairman of the German Council of Science and Humanities. Dr. Schu holds a PhD in German studies from the University of Bonn.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
